I have had the business since 2007 and am not going anywhere!

In 2006 I had my first baby a little boy called Sam. The joy of having his tiny little hand wrapped around my finger made me want to capture that special moment in some way. Which is when I discovered baby casting/impressions.

Time goes by so quickly when you’re a parent, I am sure all mum’s agree our little baby’s don’t stay so little for long!

After my son was born, I also wanted to be more flexible in what I did for work.  I began looking for a business I could run from home which is when Pitter Patter Prints came into the picture.

Fast forward a number of years and have since had another baby and then started newborn photography as well.

I wish I had taken up photography sooner as I absolutely love it! I get to spend even more time with your beautiful newborn baby’s. It’s so wonderful being able to capture all their little details and this special moment in a family for them to treasure.

What’s Important

We use soft natural pottery clay to capture our Impressions which means it is chemical free and non toxic. Our clay captures every crease, line and wrinkle. It also is quick and easy to do. Your precious prints are then cast in plaster. Once dry there is a bit of Pitter Patter magic before the final framing is done to finish off the prints.

What is important to me, is that each Framed Impression is finished to the highest standard and will remain a timeless art keepsake to hang on your wall for you to admire and cherish for years to come.

That is something I believe I have achieved, as many of our customers return for the second, third or even fourth baby.

I take impressions from any age,  a few days old and upwards. If you didn’t capture your first baby with me don’t forget to look at our sibling range.

Newborn photography is best taken in the first few weeks if possible, I am baby led to make sure they are comfortable and safe. Plenty of time for feeding settling and cuddles. I have lots of little wraps, bonnets, headbands, props and blankets to style your session.
